Hi all. I've got a question for anyone would might know. Are there any predictions out there, by Nostradamus or any other prophet, concerning the Olympics?

I assume you mean the upcoming Athens Olympics. I am not certain but I bet Mike will know. Any large event like the Olympics bringing people from all over the world together to one city is an historical event in itself but this year with it being such an amazing city as Athens, and with the way the world is right now I wouldnt be surprised if something does happen at it.

Well, if you are looking for a prophecy concerning an Olympics that is plagued by the "slaughter" of many athletes and spectators by terrorists, look no further than Q10.74:
Quatrain 10.74
During the revolution of the great seventh number
It will appear at the time of the Games of Slaughter,
Not far from the age of the great millennium
When the dead will come out of their tombs.
Of course, we can't be certain that the Athens Olympics will be the games in question. The timing is also obscure. We all think we know what the "great millennium" might mean, but what does the "age of the great millennium" mean? And how far is "not far?"
Is the resurrection in the final line the one described in the book of Revelation that occurs when Jesus returns or is it the resurrection that occurs after His 1,000-year reign is over, Gog and Magog, led by an unbound Satan, are defeated, and the great White Throne judgment (Judgment Day) commences?
Or is it even a reference to a real resurrection?
Note that it has been reported that filming is about to begin at Chernobyl in Ukraine of another "Living Dead" zombie movie. This one is entitled "Necropolis" (a word which means "city of the dead" and just happens to be Greek in origin).
Is Nosty saying WW3, a new reign of terrorism in Europe and the US, or some other horror (perhaps from space) will "appear" when games are held in Greece that will be plagued by terrorists, and when Necropolis is being filmed in Ukraine?

Wow! Thanks Mike! You have given me much to ponder on. With the Athens games underway, we should keep our eyes open. That bit from outer space caught my eye. There are so many rumors floating around the net about threats from outer space. As usual Mike, you have given me a great deal to think about. Many thanks.

Okay luckily after the 1st week nothing has happend in Athens. Lets keep hoping that nothing does happen. Hwever the only time I think something may happen wuld be the closing ceremony. S lets keep our fingers crossed till its all completely over.

Two planes have exploded en route to the Black Sea close to the Ukraine last night. They were flying from Moscow to two seperate destinations, both however exploded in midflight virtually at the same time exactly an hour after take off. Is this a coincidence or was this a terrorist attack. Also as Mike mentioned earlier the planes crashed close to the Ukraine close to Chernobyl or the "Necropolis". And its during the Olympic games.
Could this be the interpretation of Nostys prediction?

Wow! I never thought of that either!
I didn't know either of the planes crashed near Chernobyl.
What I WAS thinking about was my additional prediction I first posted in July on the Overview and Update page. It was moved to the Athens Olympics prediction on page 2004 (Part Three) in early August. You can read it there.
The prediction was that an airliner would be blown up by terrorists either in late July or in August around the time of the Olympics.
I then laid out my 4 factor rationale, an idea I began using a few years ago with the base 7 system. The idea is that 3.5 years is half of 7, so sometimes very major things repeat in 3.5 years, but often closer to 4 years. I saw a line of consistency looking back in increments of 4 years at the Concorde crash in Paris in 2000, TWA 800 over Long Island near New York City in 1996, two disasters at Kathmandu, Nepal in 1992, an Iranian airbus shot down over the Persian Gulf and Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie in 1988, etc. I then used base 7, and determined that the Soviet downing of the Korean airliner KAL 107 in 1983 (3 x 7 years ago) would make this air crash either a military attack on a civilian plane or, much more likely, a TERRORIST attack.
Problem: I said the airliner that might be attacked would be US or French, enroute from Paris to NYC. That is because terrorists have been threatening the US big time this year and also European nations like Italy, Spain, and France.
I also said this act of terror might be the opening salvo of more terrorist attacks at the Olympics, in other parts of Europe, and ultimately the United States in late September or October.
I also left the possibility open that, like the Concorde crash in 2000, the one to come in July or August might only be an accident (but felt this was only a low probability).
Unfortunately, this was two RUSSIAN airliners that were attacked -- not French or US. So I got the event right, and the the timing right (August), but was unable to determine the nationality of the plane.
You know what the skeptics are going to do with that one if I try to take any credit for predicting this. It is immensely frustrating.
As for the part about this being only the beginning of a terrorist wave, one that will also affect the Olympics (only 4 to 5 days left), we'll have to see. Stratfor.com fears that this is only the beginning.
So, I suppose it is still possible a US or French airliner may still be attacked.

It has been confirmed that explosives have been found in at least one of the wrecked planes. So it seems highly probable that these were terrorist targets. 89 confirmed dead, all russian except for one israeli passenger. Both planes were within 500 miles of Chernobyl. Not that it had anything to do with it but it does seem to add credence to Mikes interpretation of Nostys prediction.

As far as that goes, Mike, "the skeptics" are going to say whatever they want no matter what you say or do. Don't let them stop you. I would say that this is a direct hit! ( But, then again, I'm a believer!)

Everyone here in Ireland feels utterly disgusted about that crazy Irish Priest that ran across the marathon and cost the Brazilian runner his Gold medal! And to think this same guy was prophecising about the Second Coming! Its a disgrace that he did it.
But Mike is there any credence to what he said? He said Jesus is actually alive today and is a soldier in the Israeli army?!

No credence -- if that is his claim he is a false messiah, as assuredly as Sun Myung Moon is a false messiah. The Bible says Jesus will return in the same manner as he departed: the apostles watched as he rose high into the air and then disappeared. In like manner he shall return from the clouds.

If we make it to the London olympics in 2012. Will it end up just like the dome? Becoming a waste of tax payers money and a further burden on society?
