Is it Putin's plan to have the west dependant on his oil and gas supply's????? He has alredy pulled rank with this before when he turned off the supply to the Ukraine. Imagine what he could do if Russia is the major suppier to the west?????

I think you might have a point here DC. He looks as though he is placing himself up for the part. If does become chairman of the gas company Gazprom and set up pipelines to the west he could have the power to sway the decisions of the other countries leaders. He would be a puppet mater as to say.

I don´t think so but really, I think it will be Putin playing the major part in WW3, not Zhironovsky.

Hello all,

Although this apparently was intended as a "Putin" thread, Darkcomet raises a question that has some support in prophecy. It is important to understand that although "Chiren" aka the great French monarque is to be the first "king" of Europe according to the prophets, it is hardly certain that this entity he shall rule will be the current EU. I have many doubts that the new order that shall emerge in Europe at the conclusion of and after World War III will be the same order now known today as the European Union. Ergo, it is possible for one or two EU presidents to be in power before World War III reaches Europe.

So, Blair could very well be the first EU president.

There is one Nostradamus quatrain I find very compelling that may be considered as evidence of this.

Bear in mind that "Tony" and "Anthony" are the same name:

Quatrain 9.91

The horrible plague at Perinthus [Eregli, S. Turkey] and Nicopolis [Preveza, W. Greece],
The Gallipoli Peninsula [NW Turkey] taken and Macedonia,
Thessaly devastated with Amphipolis [Salonika, NE Greece],
An unknown evil and denied by Anthony.

Quatrain 5.90

In the Cyclades [SE Greece], in Perinthus and Larisa [E. Greece],
Within Sparta and all of the Peloponnesus [S. Greece]:
So great a famine, pestilence through false dust,
Nine months it will last throughout the whole peninsula.

Could Blair lead the EU into a great Balkans war using the same "yellow dust" prophesied by Alois Irlmaier? Could this quatrain be a manifestation of the comming war in Europe he predicts?

"Cast a cold eye
On life, on death,
Horseman, pass by!"

Russia is pushing buttons and seeing how these country's react, I still think his goal is the oil and gas in the north, but he is also seeing how much he can get away with and flexing Russia's muscles making sure that Russia is taken seriously in the eyes of the world.

Putin is in the news everyday now - and for all high profile issues. You may be right Darkcomet - he appears to be working on a plan to get blanket global coverage on all things from European politics, NATO, resources, Middle East affairs and the list goes on and on. Appears to be a power play by him to set things up in Russia post-election.

Where will he fit in?

Hi Darkcomet and Halifax,

Some of these developments are quite troubling, and could indicate war may come as early as 2009. However, the bomber incursions into Japanese airspace remind me of the dreams I have had of both Russian and Chinese naval incursions into Japanese, Alaskan, and South Korean territorial waters and other places in the Pacific and arctic region ... and these incursions will be troubling to television news viewers when they happen. This has still to occur in any significant way, so we may have much more time ahead of us yet...say until 2012.

It does look bad for the United States in the long run. We all know North Korea has been testing Japanese waters for some time now, and also firing missiles into the sea near Japan. With Russian bombers also launching incursions into Japanese air space and, at the same time, buzzing US aircraft carriers in the Pacific, we can deduce that Russia and North Korea will likely ally with China against Japan and the United States. There is no way the US will survive a combined nuclear attack by these nations. The Russian arsenal itself will destroy most of the US mainland. Since China began MIRVing the warheads on its 20 long-range missiles, it is now capable of destroying 200 US cities. Thus, China alone could destroy the United States.

I have been watching the situation with Ukraine ever since the Orange Revolution. If you recall the elections in November 2004 there was news at that time of Russian agents being seen inciting violence at the rallies and reports of Russian troops and tanks seen in Kiev. The leadership in Moscow utterly destroyed the then-presidential candidate (and current president of Ukraine) Viktor Yushchenko's youthful face by ordering agents to expose him to deadly toxins in a Japanese restaurant. Overnight, German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder found himself at odds with his "ally" Russian President Vladimir Putin whilst Washington and Moscow watched their own "alliance" unraveling more each hour, reverting to the hostile confrontation of the Cold War.

The saga of Ukraine is far from finished and will one day be the scene of open armed conflict between Russia and Nato. Nostradamus names Ukraine as a battlefield in one quatrain:

Quatrain 3.58

Near the Rhine from the Noricum Mountains (S. Germany, N. Austria),
Born one great of the people, too tardily come.
He will defend Sarmatia (Poland, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Ukraine and Belarus) and the Pannonians (Austria, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia and Montenegro),
One will not know what became of him.

Most of the kingdom of Sarmatia lie in Ukraine and the Baltics. We can see here that Germany will initially come to the defence of this region when it comes under attack by Russia. An escalation will ensue between Washington and Moscow when Russian troops attempt to move troops into Hungary and Serbia:

Quatrain 2.90

Through life and death the rule in Hungary will change,
The law will become more bitter than servitude:
Their great city calls out with pleas and howls,
Castor and Pollux (US and Russia) are enemies in the field.

Also, a female US president shall be in office at this time, unless the female leader in this instance is German Chancellor Angela Merkel or former Ukraine Prime Minister Yulia Tymshenko:

Quatrain 8.15

Towards Russia great efforts by a masculine woman,
Nearly all of Europe and the universe vexed,
The two eclipses (US and Russia) will put all to such pursuit,
And for the Pannonians (Yugoslavs, Bosnians, Croats, and Hungarians)
life and death will be reinforced.

"Through life and death the rule" in Q2.90 links up with "life and death will be reinforced" in Q8.15. A change in leadership will bring oppression to the former Soviet republics, resulting in revolutions, some of which shall spread even to Italy, Germany, and France, and trigger a series of events, culminating in the assassination of a Czech or Balkans leader as prophesied by Alois Irlmaier.

In any event, if the "masculine woman" is a US president ("Castor and Pollux are enemies in the field"/ "Towards Russia great efforts by a masculine woman"), then it will likely mean that Hillary Clinton has been elected in 2008.

Putin's nuclear threat of Ukraine is ominous indeed.

On life, on death,
Horseman, pass by!"

Mike, you message gives cause for concern, it is obvious that Russia is not going to take a back seat reguarding the latest issues over nuclear powers, lets hope things improve when a new leader gets in.
Putin gave this press release which looked promising

Then just half hour later it is on the news that he repeats his threat on missiles

Well it looks like Putin is getting the Ukraine scared of an attack if it goes ahead with Nato's plan.

The Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko has promised to pass a law outlawing Nato military bases on his country's territory just a day after Vladimir Putin had threatened to point nuclear missiles at Ukraine if the country joined the alliance.

Hi Mike

Yes I do remember your concerns about Ukraine a long time ago – as you say this is a troubling development.

On Putin he is really putting himself out there in his last weeks as President – as I mentioned before clearly a power play and also a way to ensure that his profile is kept high before moving into another high profile position. Catching up on today’s news I saw this article in the NYT which I though worth posting given the speed of recent developments in regards to Putin. It was no secretto the world of his intentions, but he has made it clear now in this speech.
