Hi Darkcomet,
Indeed, this event could be the start of a one-year late fulfilment of that prediction. North Korea and China have been close military allies ever since the Korean War (1950-1953). That's a long time.
My guess is that within 30 to 60 days of hostilities opening up between the US and North Korea, China would side with its neighbour, making things extremely hot in the Pacific Ocean. Nuclear attacks on US ships and West Coast cities are a distinct possibility. If China was crazy enough to use all 200 of its warheads, every major city in the US would be toast. But China, like North Korea, would be reduced to a lake of glass if that ever happened:
Nostradamus, Quatrain 3.1 :
After the combat and naval battle, Great Neptune in his highest belfry: The red adversary will become pale with fear And put the great Ocean into terror.
If the color red in this instance is being used to represent communism, then the ocean upon which this red antagonist wreaks havoc must be the Pacific. The only nuclear communist states in that part of the world currently are China and North Korea.
This bodes ill for the future of other nations positioned around the "great Ocean"—including Japan, Australia, and the United States.
But what of Russia which also is situated on the Pacific Ocean? Let us hope that a Sino-Russian nuclear attack against America and her Pacific allies is not what is being prophesied here.

Well he may want it, but he is the one that has to do something about it! This is probably another ploy by Kim Jong Il to try and appease China who are putting pressure on him to comply with international attitudes that being a rogue state and an ally of China is not good for anyone!
I wonder how long more he will last, he looked very ill in recent photos. And as none of his sons are currently deemed worthy to succeed him, it will probably fall to some Army General, and then who knows what could happen on the peninsula. |

Events on the Korean Peninsula are starting to hot up again in recent weeks. Matter of fact not a day has gone by in the last week or so where a major story has not been published in regards to the tensions once again arising between North & South.
Mike you have expressed concern about recent events in the Middle East following the Israeli election, and rightly so, but we should also keep a close watch on Far East Asia at this time.

Well North Korea keeps coming back with aggressive moves in the Far East. Recent spats with South Korea over renewed political differences, the ongoing six way talks over their nuclear aspirations that have come to no tangible outcome, Japans increasing concern over this latest 'test' - the issues in that part of the world will not lie down and settle.
Over the last month North Korea have threatened verablly the US, South Korea and Japan over several different issues. Is this really about the power struggle internally within North Korea - by developing an aggressive attitude towards its own country from others, doesnt that put the current regime in a position to justify their stranglehold to their own people???
This latest event is another real test for diplomacy from US, China, Russia and Japan along with South Korea, on how to negotiate a sensible outcome and not lose sight of the bigger picture - i.e. in the short to medium term strike a deal to eliminate any moves to nuclear arms in North Korea.

North Korea has launched what it has said is a satellite. I think other countries are blowing this out of all proportion. While North Korea still poses a threat, people have to give caution to what words they use and how they use them.

| I found it amusing that their supposed satelite was beaming back revolutionary songs, when the US said that it failed to achieve orbit and crashed into the Pacific! |
