Sorry, everybody ... I accidentally deleted the thread "Mike's Double Earthquake Prediction" so I am beginning it again.
It was only my intention to delete Tubber's duplicate post (his post got posted TWICE somehow). When I deleted it, for some reason, the whole thread disappeared!!!!!
This is only the second time I have have ever made a mistake of this nature that I can recall since the forum began in 2001. My apologies for the inconvenience.
In any event, let us address the geological and climatological impacts that have been going on in the world since May 2008 which appear to have been the start of something much worse than what preceded it. Indeed, May 10, as Nostradamus predicted, appears to have been the ballpark date for this gradual opening of "the sixth seal" of Revelation (the China quake struck on May 12). This was also the day the world population reached 6,666,666,666.
Sorry again for my error in wiping the original thread.

Mike - your 'slow opening of the sixth seal' idea certainly has credit. Since May 10 (or May 12 to be exact), large earthquakes worldwide have been more common, there has been a quake over 6 daily for most of this week somewhere in the world.

Biblical is the word for the last few months really! Earthquakes, volcanoes, landslides, floods! I am sure this years Hurricane season will be interesting too!
I am perplexed by the tectonic activity! It was all triggered by the Tsunami Quake in 2004, the day after christmas, could that massive event, an event that caused the planet to wobble on its access, created a noise loud enough to be detected by every ground based sonograph on the planet, and caused hundreds of kilometrs of tectonic plate to be thrussed upwards into the Indian Ocean be considered the Trump Blast that heralds the opening of the sixth seal?
It certainly seems so to me! Even as a scientist I have to see that there has been a dramatic increase in tectonic activity accompanied by bizarre weather induced by climate change that probably ahsnt occurred before! |

It really is only a matter of time before Australia is hit by a tsunami. If they are lucky, it will start on the opposite side of the Pacific and will give them roughly a day to prepare and evacuate the coasts. A tsunami triggered by a quake anywhere from Chile all the way to Alaskan coast will travel across the Pacific and strike the opposite coastline.
If Australia was extremely unlucky, a quake off New Zealand would trigger a tsunami travelling north west which would strike the south western coast of Australia and inundate Tasmania and New South Wales. This tsunami would probably be more devestating as its origin would be closer to Australia, plus the evacuation time would be just a few hours. |

JenBar,
The OTHER vision you told me about a long while back came true! I tried to hunt it up on the SEARCH engine on this forum, but was only able to find a thread where you mention it to me in passing.
Anyway, Jen had a vision about seeing a Qantas airliner sitting quietly on the field and looking seemingly Okay, yet there being a lot of news or something surrounding it, like there had been an accident, but no injuries. Something like that!
Well, here it is :

(CNN) -- A Qantas flight from Hong Kong to Melbourne made an emergency landing in the Philippines on Friday after a hole appeared in the fuselage and the cabin lost pressure suddenly...
See story:
Hole in Qantas jet forces emergency landing - July 25. http://edition.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/07/25/jet.emergency/index.html
The giant tidal waves that crash against the eastern coast of Australia must not be far behind now, because Jen said this would happen around that time!

Will there be more?"
Hey Jen. There usually are. Actually, it wasn't that bad a shaker. I could pretty much tell it was in the 5 range; because it was enough that you could really feel it, but not so bad that it was something to worry about. When they gave out the strength indication/Richter Scale, I wasn't surprised it was a 5. I just didn't estimate the extra .4 . My parents were near the epicenter and the worst damage that happened was the television toppled over and is now broken. Actually, they had more damage about 10 to 15 miles to the south in Yorba Linda.
In Los Angeles proper, today's quake just shook up a lot of my co-workers and kind of amused me a bit. Of course, I would not have been so amused if the earthquake were as large as Northridge in 1994. I didn't find the Northridge quake amusing at all. That one was the first earthquake that really scared me. |

Well now we need to wait and see if Mikes double earthquake prediction is rel;ated to this one, could we see another quake of a similar size in the coming days I wonder!
One of things that intrigued me about the BBC report was that one citizen said - we forgot what a big quake felt like!
Thats what we have been saying for ages, that all the activity around the Pacific Rim has been intense in all places except for the North American Pacific Coast!
It could be starting now! |

Well Mike I know it wasnt in the US but there definitely was a double earthquake today!!! Two quakes, a 6.0 in Indonesia and a 6.9 in Japan struck within minutes of each other, along the same plate boundary! If that doesnt sound like a double earthquake I dont what does!! |

It certainly does look like a double quake, Conor. I was going to post news of it yesterday on here, but got caught up instead responding to the Sarah Palin/whore of Babylon thread.
These quakes occurred simultaneously, and that should have people worried and starting to think. It wouldn't be impossible at all for a 'double impact' on the west coast, say one quake in Washington state near Seattle and another south in California.
Anyway, I hate the way the media plays the magnitudes down all the time (trying to lull everyone into thinking nothing remarkable is happening). The Japan quake was reported as 7.2 then as a 7.0 in many sources, but on CNN ended up at 6.9. And the 6.6, you say 6.0, in Indonesia, was initially reported as 7.6!
What's going on here?

They were huge quakes! If they were to happen in California they would be considered huge! Butas its Indonesia and Japan they dont seem to think they are of importance!
The instability of the Pacific Rim is something we have all been hammering on about for quite some time since the tsunami quake nearly four years ago now! This should indicate that the instability is widespread and can affect a huge area. I am still very concerned with the lack of major activity along North Americas west coast. Thats the area where stress must be building. |

Hi Conor,
Actually, it looks like the last day was seismically even more active than we have thought!
In addition to Japan's 7.0 mag earthquake and tsunami and Indonesia's mag 6.6, in Chile there was also a powerful 6.0 magnitude earthquake and in Iran a 6.1 that was initially reported as nuclear weapons test by the Western media (wonder if it was?).
This is an awful lot that is happening, plus Hurricane Ike had an incredible surge height when it struck Texas: waves were two stories high!
Any chance this could have been caused by the CERN, particle accelerator experiment? Maybe we had better worry about that instead of Planet X!
