I don't want to spoil the party but did anyone really dare to imagine this would really happen????
This Goodblossom woman should have lit the flickering flame of de ja vu under all but a newbie's feet, reminding each of us about what never happened on that date that will be remembered for all time with cringing embarrassment: "May 15, 2003"
How many Nancy Lieder's and how many Zeta-type channelers must we watch bite the dust before we learn just how many nutters there really are out there on the Internet???? Lieder's little "white lie" as she called it after Planet X failed to show on the date above also did more than engage half the web in the ramblings of a lunatic for well over a year ... she destroyed all credibility in an issue that really should NOT be ignored: Planet X is REAL folks, it is indeed a topic worthy of discussion by serious-minded folk, but her cynical sensationalist date-setting and conversations with little green men has made the whole issue a laughable conspiracy. Now none of us can speak of Planet X without being branded a moron.
In like fashion, Goodblossom is in danger of making 60 years of UFO research and related work seem like the ravings of a lunatic.
The Internet doesn't need another Leader (Lieder). It needs articulate, sober-minded individuals who have invested much serious time and thought in developing their opinions and research ... not airy fairy attention-seekers who know how to manipulate the new age crowd.

No Mike I didnt even consider her prophecy to be even 1 % worthy of interest. There was nothing reported in thesky above Ireland last night and there wont be anything during the week.
I am sure she will come up with an inventive response to their lack of appearance though! |

well said Mike. Im sure that person had really had great time laughing at all those people who kept replying to her posts.. remember some sick people live out there. scams are everywhere and come in several forms..
let me add that i usually DONT believe in UFOs or aliens!

Actually, strangeness aside, she seems like a nice person who got caught up in something that she thought was real, but wasn't.
I don't know enough about the psychology of channelers. Perhaps they are drawing upon an unconscious part of themselves that they project outwards and believe is somebody else. But from what I have seen of those that do channel, their predictions etc., they aren't all that accurate. So, when I hear that someone has channeled new information from the "other side" or "stratusphere" or whatever you want to call it, I always pause and say, "Um, maybe not." There is just too much room there for self-delusion on the part of the channeler, no matter how sincere they truly are about their talent(s). |

Paula, you're right, she does seem like a nice lassie, genuine. I think she really believes in what she says - I've quite enjoyed following this story :-) and may follow it a little more!, it seems there have been developments regarding this date, though not from Blossom.
A website that was created to follow the chanelled information http://www.10-14-08.blogspot.com/ by a chap called 'Brad' has put forward some new info on his site regarding the date being wrong, using the wrong calandar i.e. the Gregorian calandar instead of the Julian calandar, though I'm not quite sure why this should be. October 24th instead of 14th? I've watched the first video, but no reasons as to why the calandar is wrong, and I don't know enough about the differences between the two so gonna look into it. There's more videos on the above website so will watch them also.
