| This flu is no different than any other. It is not that big of a deal, it is just being REALLY HYPED UP!!! More people will probably die in a car crash today alone than during the whole duration of this epidemic. A spokesperson from the CDC said that it is less likely that more people would die from Swine flu than from any other flu. For some reason it is just being blown out of whack for no apparent reason. Tens of thousands of people die every year from the flu, so there is a long way to go before we should worry. |

I have to agree this is getting blown out of proportion. But what if this is a test run for something bigger?
While are attention is being focused on the threat this may turn into a pandemic. Who is actually paying attention to what else is going on in the rest of the world?

The Middle Eastern religions forbid the eating of any parts from a pig. Maybe the swine flu is payback from above for disobedience?

I agree with JJ111 and Darkcomet. I think there is a lot of hysteria surrounding this flu. Not that long ago the big hysteria surrounded SARS, which thankfully didn't materialize into much of anything outside of the far east.
I am not saying we shouldn't be concerned about an upcoming pandemic, but I think we should first wait at least a week or so to figure out if there is anything to worry about. |

now i must admit i am getting a little worried about this swine flu, it has been anounced a gp and a 6 year old girl have died with it and had no under lying problems in the uk, i myself have a 6 year old son and work in a doctors surgery so u can see why i am a bit worried, but if it comes out healthy people are starting to die from it, what are we to do, last night i turned to my, as i call it nostradamus bible, and it does mention a virus of some kind will spread from mexico.

I for one will NOT be having that jab. Granted Alex Jones is sometimes out there with the nutters, but.....with all the hype surrounding swine flu, we have been bombarded. I am going from past experience with situations like this, where the goverment has promoted such notions. Causing people to fear in order to vaccinate. This is a plan that will backfire on them.

yes i heard they are not quite sure about the vaccine, and it hasn't been tested out properly, yet they are rushing it out, in my job they will say i have to have it, but this could do more harm than good

Doctor says FLU VACCINE will cause 60,000 deaths in France alone (translation below).
"A vaccine is being developed in conditions of amateurism such as I have never seen. Lets take the pessimistic hypothesis: one death among every 1000 patients. There are plans to vaccinate 60 million people, and you so you already have 60,000 deaths, and this time, young people, children, pregnant women.

There is a public health code of law from 2007 which obliges all health professionals who give their opinions to reveal their interests. That law is ridiculed every day. All the people who you see saying: „the flu, its very serious, have interests, their lines interests, and that is why they say what they say. The public health administration is an example to us of a daily violation of the law. I am a medical specialist and I am against medicines that have no purpose. This vaccine is not just badly developped: it is not developped!
Dr Marc Girard, a specialist in the side effects of drugs and a medical expert commissioned by French courts, has said said on French TV that the "swine flu" vaccine could cause 60,000 deaths in France, especially among young people, children and pregnant women.
He also said that the people promoting the "swine flu" vaccine are doing so because they have links with the pharmaceutical company.
The problem with the "swine flu" vaccine is that it is not just "badly developped" but "not developped", he said, adding that it is being prepared in conditions that endanger the public health.
