A thought ocurred to me the other day. I know. I shouldn't be thinking so hard...

Have we replaced believing in God to believing in TPTB? Hoping the "someone" is really in control of our world. Hoping that our existence isn't due to a number of random events but manipulated by something / someone else.

Just wondering. We don't know who the TPTB are. We can't see them. We can't see God. We just have faith. Do we have faith that TPTB will in the end protect us mere humans?

TPTB protect mere humans? Now that I find hard to believe. They have a hard enough job protecting themselves.
