That sounds promising! Any idea what is going to happen on 25th may? Had a scoot about the internet, but no-one seems to know.

it could be to do with the announcement of the lemur fosil they found, that being the missing link, i was hoping for something more exciting

Thats what I was wondering aswell!!!

Here are some of the dates -
November 4th 2008 - Obama elected
January 28th 1986 - Challenger Explodes
March 4th 1933 - election of Hitler
November 22nd 1963 - JFK assassination

If it is the missing link they are referring too I think they have completely overhyped it!!!

If you look at www.history.com they talk about it as the missing link. To be honest it is an important scientific discovery but in no way is it comparable to the JFK assassination of the Obama election.
